Chair

graham_walker

Graham Walker, P.Eng. is an Infrastructure Planning Engineer with AECOM. Graham transitioned to the CSCE Vancouver Section in 2015 after relocated from Saskatchewan where he was the Vice-Chair with the CSCE Saskatoon Section. Since obtaining his degree from the University of Saskatchewan, Graham has worked in consulting on various municipal infrastructure projects. He has experience with linear infrastructure planning and design, conveyance system computer modelling, and project management. In his spare time Graham enjoys creating music, following football, and getting outdoors.


Vice Chair


Tian Wang, EIT is currently a bridge engineer-in-training with the BC Ministry of Transportation and a Masters of Engineering student at the University of British Columbia. He became involved with CSCE during his undergraduate days by helping to organize the annual student-industry mixer, and progressed onto the Vancouver Chapter Executive Committee shortly after graduation. He recently took on his role as the Vice-Chair to help further promote CSCE’s role in the Vancouver civil engineering community and to foster growing inter-organizational collaboration with each of the sub-discipline associations under the civil-umbrella. Tian is a snowboarding, bike-riding, coffee-drinking mechanical enthusiast.


Treasurer


Dominique Bram Guevarra, EIT is a Junior Traffic Engineer working at Creative Transportation Solutions. His involvement with CSCE began while at UBC in 2010 and since graduation, he has continued to serve on the executive committee in various capacities. In Dominique Bram’s current role as treasurer, he is responsible for the long term financial well being of the section and advises the executive committee of the financial implications of its decisions.


Secretary and Communication Coordinator

Fraser Mah, MSc, EIT is a municipal infrastructure EIT at Dillon Consulting, working primarily in roads, water, storm and sanitary infrastructure, and water/wastewater treatment. He grew up in Red Deer Alberta and completed his undergrad and masters in Environmental Engineering at the University of Alberta with a thesis looking at drinking water quality in a First Nation in Central Alberta. Fraser moved to Vancouver in the fall of 2014 with his partner who is studying urban planning at UBC.


Program and Events Coordinator


Frances Wee, EIT is a recent B.A.Sc. graduate of the University of British Columbia (UBC). While completing her undergraduate degree, Frances participated in various UBC engineering design teams including ASCE Steel Bridge and Concrete Canoe Competitions and served as team captain for the 2014 UBC EERI Seismic Design Team. Frances was also involved in the co-op program and has worked as a structural engineering student in mining and transportation divisions for AMEC, SNC-Lavalin and Stantec based in the Lower Mainland area. Upon graduation, Frances is continuing her work in structural consulting engineering on various bridge design, construction, and inspection projects.

Membership and Technology Coordinator

Yuki Kishimoto, EIT is a recent graduate of the University of British Columbia (UBC) who served as the Chair of the UBC CSCE Student Chapter in 2012-2013. She has continued serving the CSCE Vancouver Section as an active member ever since. At UBC, Yuki was actively involved in the UBC Steel Bridge Design Team, the Structural Engineers Association of British Columbia (SEABC) Young Members Group, the UBC Civil Club, and was employed by the BC Ministry of Transportation and SNC-Lavalin during her work terms with the UBC Engineering Co-op Program. Yuki is currently a bridge engineer-in-training at Stantec in Burnaby.

Stanley Chan, EIT is a structural design engineer at Read Jones Christoffersen. He has been involved with CSCE since 2011 when he served as the Co-chair of the UBC CSCE Student Chapter, since then he has continued serving the CSCE Vancouver Section at different capacities.



Member-At-Large

Chelene Wong, P.Eng., M.Eng. is a structural engineer working at Hatch Infrastructure. She has been involved with CSCE at all levels, starting with the UBC CSCE Student Chapter in 2010 and has been volunteering with the Professional Chapter since 2011. She was the CSCE Vancouver Section Chair for 2012-2013 and 2013-2014, and Past-Chair for 2014-2015 and 2015-2016. She is continuing her service as a Member-at-Large with the Section, helping with Section initiatives to help increase the overall presence of CSCE in Vancouver, engaging our local members and encourage collaboration with fellow professional associations.
